I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Makerere University in Uganda. I am passionate about youth leadership, sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and infectious diseases including antimicrobial resistance (AMR). My long-term goal is to become an impactful researcher and global health leader, combining essential medical knowledge and public health to generate evidence that informs policy and transforms universal health coverage across Africa.

My experience includes serving as a peer educator with the Inclusive Health Bureau’s SRH Project where I delivered youth-centered education on contraception and STI prevention. I also led the EAACO Project in 2023, an implementation research initiative exploring the potential of training medical students as peer educators in the HIV response in Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria and Cameroon.

As the past chairperson of the Federation of African Medical Students Associations - Standing Committee on Population Activities in 2024, I led strategic initiatives across Africa focusing on maternal and child health, gender mainstreaming, and universal health coverage. I also spearheaded advocacy campaigns around critical health challenges such as preeclampsia and breast cancer.

I co-founded the Makerere University Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Club, which raises awareness and advocates for responsible antibiotic use among young people in school communities.

Currently, I serve as Mentorship Coordinator for the Teemba Child Health Project, supporting pediatric outreach for children in underserved communities of Uganda, and organising personal development sessions for young volunteers.
