I am currently a nurse intern with a strong passion for public health, particularly in advocating for the well-being of adolescents and young adults, with a focus on reproductive and mental health. My career goal is to become a public health nurse researcher, dedicated to improving healthcare access and outcomes for young people, and to influence policies that support their needs.

In the past, I have gained valuable experience by providing health education on sexual and reproductive health to adolescents and representing youth at stakeholder forums, where I discussed the challenges they face in expressing their needs. I have also conducted research, including a study on the perceived determinants of contraceptive use among adolescents. Currently, I am practicing as a nurse while serving as an adolescent representative, advocating as a voice for adolescents and young adults and promoting their health and rights.

I joined the AYAB because of my deep passion for advocating for adolescents and young adults, particularly in the areas of mental and reproductive health. I aim to enhance my advocacy skills and collaborate with like-minded individuals to address gaps in healthcare and education for this group. Through this work, I hope to empower adolescents and young adults with a supportive platform, inspiring positive change and fostering meaningful conversations to make a lasting impact.
