I am currently an Intern Nurse at Muhimbili National Hospital in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and I also serve as the Program Coordinator for Cancer Fight Tanzania. My career goal is to become a leader in healthcare policy and advocacy, focusing on improving access to quality healthcare services, particularly in mental health, reproductive health, and cancer care. I aim to contribute to shaping impactful health policies, advancing public health initiatives, and fostering sustainable healthcare solutions for underserved communities.

Through my current role at Muhimbili National Hospital and as the Program Coordinator for Cancer Fight Tanzania, I have gained valuable experience in managing advocacy initiatives and community programs. In addition, as the Co-Founder and former Chairperson of the Tunasikiliza Platform, I led mental health advocacy efforts, focusing on awareness, education, and support systems. These roles have strengthened my skills in program coordination, policy advocacy, and community engagement in healthcare.

I was drawn to be Member of the AYAB by my passion for empowering youth and addressing critical health challenges through advocacy and policy development. My experiences with the Tunasikiliza Platform and Cancer Fight Tanzania have shown me the transformative impact that youth-led initiatives can have on communities. Joining AYAB gives me the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded individuals, contribute to meaningful change, and amplify the voices of young people in shaping health policies and programs. I would really love to continue this work.
